Tobago Highlands

There are a few ways to access Highland Waterfall... the tallest single drop fall on the island and properly nestled in lush greenery. With us, your journey will start in the small rural village of Moriah. As we take an easy meander downriver to the top of the main waterfall, you will have the opportunity to get refreshed in her lagoon pool and also have a must do 'photo opp.' before your rappel to her base.

On your dismount, feel free to challenge yourself against her flow to get behind the fall; now you can admire her beauty from a different vantage point and also grab a quick back massage!

As you make your trek back to the start point, you will almost certainly be monitored by Rufous-tailed Jacamars as well as Motmots. For this segment you will traverse the old Highland Estate where you can still see remains of old waterwheels and possibly also be escorted by the resident cows.

If you do not have previous experience using rappelling/rock climbing gear and not familiar with the techniques used for this activity, you will be required to participate in the CoolBlue Adventures Rock Climbing/Rappelling Experience (see our listings), prior to embarking on this expedition.
